How Algarve itineraries work
Because the Algarve is far from Lisbon and the region has many possible routes, we do not sell a fixed Algarve day trip online. Instead, send us your dates, the number of travellers and what you would like to see, and we will reply with a proposed itinerary and a price.
Once an itinerary and price are agreed in writing, the booking is confirmed in the same way as our other tours: a 30% deposit online, with the balance paid in Portugal.
What to see in the Algarve
The region is best known for its coastline — Ponta da Piedade near Lagos, the cliffs of Sagres, the caves around Benagil and the beaches of the central Algarve — alongside historic towns such as Lagos, Silves, Faro and Tavira.
Distances in the Algarve are significant, so most itineraries are built around one area rather than trying to cover the whole coast in a single day.
